Large Celadon Greek Vase

A vase 23' in height, made with a stoneware clay and a white slip laid over. An intricate pattern is carved into the surface of the slip to reveal the contrasting clay color underneath in a ancient technique called sgraffito, with a Celadon glaze on top. Not currently for sale.
